CWI’s North Country Ventures (NCV) recently announced that Allen Threw was their 2015 Employee of the Year! “Allen is well deserving of this award,” says Jo-Ann Harriman, NCV Production Coach. “He is always willing to do whatever is asked of him, adapts quickly to any type of work he is assigned to do and has a great sense of humor.” Allen received a Black Power Ranger shirt and hat (pictured above) in appreciation of his dedication and hard work.
NCV collaborates with area businesses to identify business partnership opportunities that create jobs for individuals with disabilities within a manufacturing or other affirmative business. It is an integrated workplace where individuals with disabilities develop competencies, emphasizes their important roles in production and encourages continual building of employment skills. Allen has been working at NCV for almost 30 years. Congratulations Allen!
