Residential Direct Support Professional- Regency 24 hours/week; Base pay rate $14.27/hour and health insurance!

Counselor (Applied Behavior Specialist) – full time 40 hours/week; pay rate $23.93/hour

  • Position Concept: The Applied Behavioral Specialist will be responsible for overseeing programming for all service modules, responsible for charting and recording progress of assigned program participants, and writing behavioral programs for each participant.
  • Position Qualifications: A person with a Master’s Degree in a field of psychology from an accredited program and who has specialized training or one (1) year experience in treating or working with persons who have developmental disabilities or a person who is currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree program in the relevant area of study with a tentative graduation date determined.
  • Addition Details: Responsibilities include working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities who participate in CWI Inc. day programs as well as residences. Many individuals in addition to developmental delays, present with co-occurring Psychiatric disorders. Responsibilities include development of behavioral interventions and plans which include a functional behavioral assessment as well as specific plans for intervention. Behavior Specialists provide crisis intervention and short term therapy. In addition Behavioral Specialists work with direct care staff and families, consult with management, and interface with other agencies as well as Psychiatric providers. Ph.D. level clinical supervision is available. Position may be eligible for Federal Loan Forgiveness Program (Public Service Loan Forgiveness).

Diesel Service Manager

  • Position Concept: The Diesel Service Manager is responsible for the inspection, repair and maintenance of all vehicles, serviced by Transit Connection. The Diesel Service Manager will ensure that all service is performed in a safe, economical, customer-oriented manner; and, in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Position Qualifications: Have at least four (4) years work experience with buses or heavy trucks, both gas and diesel, and be familiar with New York State Department of Transportation Laws and Regulations. Attends various program participant meetings and doctor appointments, as well as provides direct training to program/direct care staff as is pertains to Occupational Therapy.
  • Position Qualifications: An AAS degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, good character and background. Current certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association or registered to sit for certification exam. They must also have an affinity for working with the developmentally disabled. In addition, they must have a clean drivers license, and be capable of handling all of the position responsibilities. Shall demonstrate competency in First Aid/CPR and safety procedures.

Physical Therapy Assistant- 15+ hours.week – $15.80 PER HOUR plus increase after probation period

Community Support Professional- 12+ hours/week – $13.33 PER HOUR

  • Schedule: Wednesday and Friday 9:30am-3:30pm

  • Position Concept: The Community Support Professional will assist the Community Services Manager and the Community Services Coordinators in the programming and supervision of the participants in the Community Hab Program.

Computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Three to five years paid experience working with the developmentally disabled population in vocational rehabilitation or a related area may be substituted for the education requirement.
