Residential Direct Support Professional- Cherry 20 hours/week – $14.27 PER HOUR plus increase after probation period

Chief Financial Officer

  • Employment Type: Full time, benefited

  • Position Concept: Executive level position responsible for managing and controlling all aspects of the financial, accounting and operational functions of the organization. Provides CEO and Board of Directors with current, accurate, and meaningful financial information to allow for sound fiscal management of the organization’s multiple funding streams. Establish and monitor the procedures and controls related to financial records and systems of the organization to ensure integrity of its financial information used by the management team in planning for and managing the agency’s multiple funding sources and financial resources.
  • Position Qualifications: 10 years progressive experience in a not-for-profit environment, BS in Accounting or Business Administration required, CPA or MBA preferred. Detail oriented, good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands on environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Residential Manager – excellent pay and benefits! Base salary $45,000+

  • Position Concept: Must be capable of handling all position responsibilities outlined in the job description, including leadership role, scheduling, problem solving, direct care, and accountability for quality service provisions. Must also have acceptable driving record and be eligible for CWI’s driver certification.
  • Position Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service or related field/and two years experience working with the developmentally disabled population, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Physical Therapy Assistant- 15+ hours.week – $15.80 PER HOUR plus increase after probation period

  • Position Qualifications: Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Program and New York State Licensure. Experience in working with disabled population. Must have acceptable driving record as well as demonstrated competency in First Aid/CPR.

Registered Nurse/Health Services Specialist – daytime hours and no on-call!

  • Employment Type: Regular, benefited, full time 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, or 4 ten hour days, no on-call schedule!
  • Location: Glens Falls region, local travel required
  • Position Concept: The Health Services Specialist is responsible for tracking and treating the human responses of individuals to actual or potential disability that interrupt or alter function and life satisfaction. The goal of nursing services is to assist the individual in the restoration and maintenance of maximal health. The Health Services Specialist will also have the responsibility assigned by the Director of Health Services of treatment coordination.
  • Position Qualifications: The Health Services Specialist shall be a registered nurse, with current licensure in New York State and at least one year's post degree experience. Experience in a human services setting serving persons with developmental disabilities preferred.

Community Support Professional- 12+ hours/week – $13.33 PER HOUR

  • Employment Type: Regular, 12 hour per week (additional hours available)
  • Schedule: Wednesday and Friday 9:30am-3:30pm
  • Location: Glens Falls region
  • Position Concept: The Community Support Professional will assist the Community Services Manager and the Community Services Coordinators in the programming and supervision of the participants in the Community Hab Program.
  • Position Qualifications: A High School Diploma/equivalent or CNA Certification, good character and background, a clean driver’s license and be eligible to pass the 19A/CDL requirements and van certification. Must have an affinity for working with the developmentally disabled, and be capable of handling all the position responsibilities as outlined.   • Position Concept: Facilitate smooth flow of all activities ensuring quality on all contracts through the Fulfillment Center
  • Position Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Management and three years supervisory experience, or at least five years of paid experience in Industrial Production and three year supervision experience. Must be knowledgeable of Production Planning. Prefer forklift certification. Must have strong organizational skills and work well in fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Must demonstrate an ability to work well with a diverse population including individuals with disabilities, while being able to successfully meet demands of production deadlines.

Fulfillment Assistant

  • Employment Type: Per diem
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday; day time hours; schedule can range from 8am-2pm
  • Location: Glens Falls
  • Position Concept: To assist the Fulfillment Supervisor with fulfillment of contracts and other business responsibilities and tasks in a timely manner. To assist in the coordination of business fulfillment activities.
  • Position Qualifications: Must be able to demonstrate positive work performance in the manufacturing setting. Must have a good attendance record, and excellent attention to detail. Must also be able to follow multi-step directions with high productivity and quality results. In addition, must be able to work independently and/or in group settings, and interact well with others in the workplace. Prefer candidates who can accept flexible and changing work schedules.

Saturday Club Recreation Leader – $16.18 PER HOUR

  • Position Concept: Design and implement social/recreational activities for the Saturday Club, including day/evening trips, in-house projects and recreational events.

  • Position Qualifications: Associates Degree in psychology, human services or other related field with one year of paid experience in vocational rehabilitation or related areas. Computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Three to five years paid experience working with the developmentally disabled population in vocational rehabilitation or a related area may be substituted for the education requirement.

  • Position Concept: To transport CWI passengers by driving agency vehicles in a manner which is safe, economical, on schedule and in compliance with all New York State Vehicle and Traffic Laws.
  • Position Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a Class B Commericial Drivers License (CDL); with three years of accident and violation free driving. Demonstrated competency in First Air/CPR and safety procedures highly desirable.

Sub Bus Monitor

  • Position Concept: The Bus Monitor is responsible for the safe, uneventful passage of program participants to and from their pick-up point each day.
  • Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be of good character or background and display an affinity for working with the developmentally disabled. Shall also demonstrate competency in First Aid and Safety Procedures. Must be capable of handling all the position responsibilities.
