  • Position Concept: The LPN will assist the Director in the programming and supervision of the individuals in the Habilitation program. The LPN will also have the responsibility for health care of the program participants, and the implementation of program individual health services, under the oversight of the Program’s Health Services Specialist (HSS).
  • Position Qualifications: LPN's must be Licensed by the State of New York as an LPN and have a high school diploma. Must have good character and background and an acceptable driving record. Must have an affinity for working with the developmentally disabled. Demonstrated competency in First Aid/CPR safety procedures, Medication Administration, and 19A/CDL certification considered a plus.

Employment Counselor

Residential Direct Support Professional-Flat Rock 40 hours/week

Bus Monitor

  • Employment Type: Regular, benefited, part time 20+ hours per week

Fulfillment Assistant

  • Position Concept: To assist the Fulfillment Supervisor with fulfillment of contracts and other business responsibilities and tasks in a timely manner. To assist in the coordination of business fulfillment activities.

Computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Day Services Manager

  • Employment Type: Regular, benefited, full time 40 hours/week
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
  • Location: Glens Falls region; program to be determined
  • Position Concept: The Day Services Manager will be responsible for the operation and hands-on delivery of services delivered in the Day Habilitation Program. The Day Services Manager will be a (QIDP).
  • Position Qualifications: A person with a BA/BS in a field of education, social work, psychology, rehabilitation or related human services field from an accredited program, RN or who holds permanent certification from the New York State Department of Education. One year working with the developmentally disabled. Also requires supervisory experience and valid/ insurable driver license. Must be capable of handling all the position responsibilities outlined in the job description.

Residential Direct Support Professional- Regency Supported 20 hours/week

  • Position Concept: To assist with the data entry of medical files during the transition to electronic medical records.

Saturday Club Recreation Assistant

  • Employment Type: per diem
  • Schedule: 2 Saturday shifts per month, outing shift typically 10am-4pm
  • Location: Glens Falls region, local travel required
  • Position Concept: The Recreation Program Aide will assist the Recreation Leader and other professional staff in implementation of social/recreational programs including day/evening trips and in-house activities for the Saturday Club.
  • Position Qualifications: A High School Diploma/equivalent. Experience in working with individuals with disabilities. Must be capable of handling all the position responsibilities outlined and have an acceptable driving record. Demonstrated competency in First Aid/CPR may be required. Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment and complete necessary documentation punctually required.

Community Recreation Leader (2 positions available)

  • Schedule: 2 outings per month, outings can range from 2-8 hours
  • Location: Glens Falls region, local travel required
  • Position Concept: Design and implement social/recreational activities for the Community Rec Club, including day/evening trips, in-house projects and recreational events.
  • Position Qualifications: Associate's degree in Human Services or related field with experience working with persons with disabilities. One year of experience working in the field required. Experience developing and implementing social/recreational activities highly desired. Must have an acceptable driving record.

  • Position Concept: To transport CWI passengers by driving agency vehicles in a manner which is safe, economical, on schedule and in compliance with all New York State Vehicle and Traffic Laws.

Community Support Professional

  • Employment Type: Per Diem, flexible schedule and hours
  • Schedule: Various
  • Location: Greater Glens Falls Area; local travel required
  • Position Concept: Work under the supervision of the Home Care Coordinator to implement services as specified in the Community Habilitation Plan and Individual Service Plan. Supervise, assist, and provide training to participants which will enable them to achieve increased independence, individualization, community integration and productivity.
  • Position Qualifications: A High School Diploma/equivalent. Experience in working with individuals with disabilities. Must be capable of handling all the position responsibilities outlined and have an acceptable driving record. Demonstrated competency in First Aid/CPR may be required. Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment and complete necessary documentation punctually required.
