Serves people with mental disabilities and their families by providing independent oversight of the quality and cost-effectiveness of services provided by all mental hygiene programs in New York State.

Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD)
Coordinates and provides services for people with development disabilities and their families and conducts research into the causes and prevention of developmental disabilities in New York State.

New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation
The New York Alliance for Inclusion and Innovation (New York Alliance) envisions a society where individuals with disabilities are contributing citizens with equal rights and the ability to live full, productive and meaningful lives.  Their mission is to serve as a catalyst for positive change and leading resource for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the organizations supporting them
through advocacy, education and training, technical assistance and practice improvement, advancing sound public policy.

Self-Advocacy Association of New York State
A not-for profit, grassroots organization run by and for people with developmental disabilities. The association’s goal is to help create a person-centered and person-directed system of supports.

Sibling Resources
The Sibling Resources Project is the host to an expanding resource library, on-line educational materials and a growing network of adult siblings, disability service professionals and disability advocates.  This site is dedicated to the interest of adult siblings and service providers who are invested in involving adult siblings in the service delivery network that supports their family member who has a developmental disability.
