On Monday, November 25, 2019, CWI hosted a blood drive at the Crandall Public Library in downtown Glens Falls, NY. A total of 48 pints of blood were collected with the potential to save 144 lives! Special thanks to all who donated blood and kudos to CWI event organizers Ashley Davis and her team as well as program participants who helped make the event a big success! Pictured below are CWI’s New Journeys Day Hab individuals James Hill and Kody McDermott with Deb Rowell, CWI VP/COO. This event gave James and Kody a chance to work on very important skills such as socializing, professionalism, work skills and much more. It also gave them the opportunity to be a part of a wonderful cause that helps so many in need. Thanks also to event sponsor Suburban Propane for donating $5 Amazon.com gift cards to blood donors.
