On December 3rd, CWI held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House to celebrate their new Community Services and Administrative Center, 16 Pearl St., Glens Falls, NY.  CWI’s program staff and participants created and decorated the building with holiday artwork and numerous Christmas trees and wreaths to add to the festivities and gave tours of the building during the event.  They also baked desserts to share with guests.  Special thanks to the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce staff for coordinating the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Chamber President/CEO Michael Bittel who congratulated CWI on its move to the City’s downtown district while addressing the large crowd consisting of CWI staff, program participants, CWI Board of Directors, local dignitaries, representatives from area businesses and chamber members.  CWI President and CEO Mark Donahue also welcomed everyone to the event, shared highlights of the move to the new site and invited attendees to tour the building.   See photos of the event, holiday artwork and decorations below.

In mid-August, CWI moved it’s senior managers, human resource, accounting, employment/consumer directed care, corporate compliance and QA offices as well as Community Hab/Respite program into its new Community Services and Administrative Center.  “For the first time, CWI’s administrative offices are now housed under one roof,” says Mark Donahue. “This was a cost-effective move resulting in an improved, more efficient work environment for our staff.”  The Center consists of the entire first floor and part of the second floor of the building.
